John King highlights an incriminating picture of President Obama during his recent trip to Chipotle. Did he overstep his political power here or is it OK for a customer to breach the boundary of the sneeze guard?

That's a sneeze guard? Hmm. I thought they were so kids didn't reach for the ingredients.

It's not even at nose height though. Sneeze guard? Was this fact-checked for veracity?

Let's face it, those "sneeze guards" are so short, the person would have to be under 36 inches tall for them to be of any value.

You can really tell how hateful/dumb people are when you read some of the comments made. It's a good thing you're not using your real name. Your friends would avoid you.

The Prez is 6 feet tall. The "Sneeze guard" barely reaches the top of his stomach. Here in NY the guard forms a counter top you can set food on. Whoever designed it should be fired.

You've heard some of the stories of what goes on in the back room of restaurants. Things much worse than the Prez pointing something out. Yet you eat out every night without a concern. Stop wasting energy hating, vote for people that'll help him and we'll all benefit from him.

Well he's got more than a sneeze guard issue now.

HIS administration just catered to the desires of Big Oil by allowing the export of oil for the first time since 1975.
Despite all the claims about caring for the poor, about leveling the field HIS administration did something that no other administration has dared to do in almost 40 years buy this action. He said he wanted to curb our countries use of oil and clearly he's willing to spike gas, diesel and jet fuel prices with this action.

A sneeze guard 'violation' is small potatoes compared to this action.

Why can't we export oil? We import it. A bigger issue is the oil subsidies (REPUBLICANS WON'T BLOCK THEM). I'm sure everytime you put gas in your car, you appreciate the oil industry getting 5 billion in us subsidies (welfare)

      Your comment is awaiting moderation.

Most of our oil from Alaska has been imported to Japan and Asia for like, ever. Very little if any gets to the lower 48. Why? oil companies can sell American oil and make a profit buying mid eastern oil.
The nasty Canadian oil sands goo get shipped to the Southern US states where air pollution standards do not apply. The pollution from processing this oil is then spread throughout the Midwest. And the majority of the finished products are shipped to Europe.
All this frick'n frack'n is teaparty stupid. Most of it goes overseas. Case and point: Iraq has a crisis and the price of gas climbs 30 cents a gallon on top of an already over inflated price.
Oil and energy is important to national defense. America should not leave the defense of this nation to greedy corporations. The oil and energy industry needs to be nationalized for energy independence to become a reality

We need to wean ourselves off oil. People do not realize how many products have petroleum in them. If you point that out, you'll be called anti-american, taking away people's choice etc. etc.

We've become sissies. There was this story yesterday on cnn where a young girl was riding next to the open door of a moving bus. She was sitting on the steps in fact. And the bus was not moving fast or anything. Look up "Child rides next to open door of bus"

Just to let you know I grew up in a country where I took the bus to school every day. Some days I was lucky ride inside. Most days I was hanging out the door with about ten others holding on to the railings of open windows or just anything that I could get a grip on. It was only my toes inside the bus on the last step. Sometimes just one toe!

Sneeze guard? And don't reach over the sneeze guard?! We have become sissies I say.

Okay, that is not a sneeze guard; it is angled the wrong way. It would only protect sneezes from someone less than three and a half feet tall, aimed upward at a 45 degree angle. It is for decorative purposes only. The only way to point at something through it is by reaching over it, on account of it being angled entirely the wrong way. Also, I like how people judge the president, saying that he must not be busy if he has time for *fast food*. We've got some real smart cookies out there in 'Murica, because clearly the six minutes it takes to order a burrito is the reason the Middle East has gone to sh*t. It most certainly was not the completely unprovoked, unfounded war that obliterated a functioning, if highly imperfect, government in order to send a message to those who don't want to pay your daddy to build unneccessary infrastructure with unpayable loans in exchange for cheap oil and financial leverage. Nope. It was the burrito.

nope, if you look at the far end of it, you can see that it is a correct 'sneeze guard', his leaning on it has bent it in the wrong direction, a cheaply built 'sneeze guard' for sure, but it once again shows how out of touch his really is with every day normal people life his is, for everyone knows the rules for 'sneeze guards', except obviously the self appointed king...

Sorry, but the sneeze guard IS angled correctly over the food. Notice the reflections of the serving / warming trays in the glass. What makes it appear to be angled the wrong way is an optical illusion based on the position of the camera. Additionally, if it was angled out toward the customers, the store would never pass its health inspections.

People get a life – this is no big deal. You all have more germs to worry about in your own kitchen than someone reaching over the shield. There are much worse things that can happen to your food in a restaurant that you would never know. Trust me – I have seen it all in the years I worked in restaurants. If you ever work in one long you either learn to ignore it of you would stop eating all together.
