Kraft is recalling 96,000 pounds of hot dogs because packaging labels were incorrect, federal officials said Sunday.
The Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners packages may have contained cheese dogs, officials said, but the packaging doesn't advise consumers that they contain milk, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a statement.
The product labels "do not reflect the ingredients associated with the pasteurized cheese in the cheese dogs," the statement said.
A consumer spotted the problem and notified the company on April 18. Kraft notified federal officials the next day, the statement said.

I don't buy hot dogs any more (I lived on them in college, but got better...). So: were they labeled as Hot Dogs containing cheese?
If so: Do the people who think cheese isn't milk so used to fake "cheese" from soy or cashews that they don't think about this?
If these things were labelled as containing cheese (without the soy or cashew qualifier) I think it is reasonable to assume this product contains milk. If they didn't have any cheese notification, then yes, the manufacturer is WRONG.
We now live in such a litigious society..it's sad that people don't get clued in when the cheese starts oozing from the dog on the grill or in the boiling water and don't happily exclaim.."score! Free cheese dogs!" **fist pump**
Some people cannot tolerate any milk products
Some people are intolerant of tolerance.
I got no patience for people with no patience.....
Soooo ... no sympathy for unemployed doctors?
Wait, there are milk products in that cheese stuffed hot dog? Cheese made of milk, whaaaa? What is that healthy ingredient doing there...
It's mis-labeled simply by calling it food......
LM F AO! I know, right? Cheese dogs have cheese in them? Go figure...
