i would think liberals would love this day......taking from those who earn to support those who pay nothing into the system yet are happy to stick their hand out and still complain....we need taxes to support the infrastructure and military.....not all this other stuff that polluted our resources....hunger is a great job motivator as is sleeping outdoors....we need more tough love and kick people in the a** so they get off the government dime and take care of yourself. :o)
you're an idiot
Not Obama's biggest fan, and for the most part financially conservative, but come on man....
This is a food blog. Take it outisde, won't ya
Here come the typical so called conservative response..ITs the capitalists world..and Conservatives are the first in line for hand outs..check all the Southern or Republican States lined up for Stimulus money while saying it is so wrong in the Media and on the Senate/Congress floor..typical hypocrites..
Actually, the money-grubbing Conservatives like this stuff just as much. They get stuff for free so they can send more money to their offshore bank accounts that they don't pay taxes on.
Yep, that's what first world countries do, let the poor starve. Now we can join the ranks of N. Korea, Ethiopia, and all the other countries that feel its unnecessary to help feed their own. That's true motivation, the rich of this country can feed the poor instead of buying a new Guflstream to fly to their private island not in this country.
Sleeping out doors does nothing to get one into the work force. Would you hire a homeless person who is dirty, with no resource to get cleaned up. That is why intervention is needed for the homeless. A good shelter will give the person a shower, clean clothes appropiate for an interview, coaching in the interview process, and housing until he is hired and has enough money to get his own place.
What an idiot and I'm willing to back it. I bet my "liberal" ass spent more in taxes last year than you generated in total income. Willing to take the bet?
And when I said I bet my liberal ass, I didn't mean my ass itself. Don't get your hopes up buttmunch.
Yay you paid taxes *golf clap*
You, sir, are a fool. Get over it – your "side" lost. The "other side" won. How about let's pull together to heal this fractured mess.
Gimme a break... Corporate America never gave anything away for free then quietly absorbed the cost. Whatever losses they may incur on a free food promotion will immediately be written off as a business expense, thus reducing the taxable income of the entity. And ironically, next April 15th, they will pay less in corporate taxes, thus reducing the tax revenue they would normally contribute to the general fund.
Just another Red Welfare State goober, trolling on a food blog. How incredibly ingenious.
Johnny Carino's has some sort of dinner pork chop deal.
