While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday.

March 28 is Something on a Stick Day because this is America(!), and if we can add a convenience factor to knife-and-fork food, by Jove, we will.

Corn dogs, popsicles, key lime pie, chicken, deep-fried Twinkies: the impalement possibilities abound.

Everything tastes better when skewered. That's our story, and we're sticking to it.
