Good morning all froma cold and snowy Denver. Got about a foot yesterday and I think the state is in the midst of their "Let's see how long we can ignore the roads" campaign. Driving yesterday was an experience. Glad i could take the bus this morning.

Anyone in the market for a gently used outdoor patio table? It is in great shape other than the 18 in saw track I accidentally ripped into it as I was ripping a sheet of plywood this weekend. Lil Biddle's new bed is costing me a fortune in more ways than one.

Soooooo the sparks shooting off your saw wasn't a clue that you weren't cutting just wood? ;)
If you want to save the table, get a piece of clear acrylic cut to fit the outer rim of the table (and a hole for the umbrella if you have one). Use clear silicone to adhere it down to the outer rim of the table frame.

I guess my circular saw cuts aluminum pretty easy. Good idea on the acrylic rim job if I can't find a decently priced replacement. Figure with spring coming, places will have stuff on sale.
I thought you'd pick up on the rim comment. :) It would be worth comparison shopping cuz a piece of acrylic can cost as much as a new table – depending on what you want and how long you want to take ribbing from Madame Biddle. ;)
