What is your favorite television guilty pleasure?
I never feel guilty from pleasures. ~_~
Ok, I'll go first since I already admitted to Cajun Justice, what can I say, it was during the tv series break and everything was repeats. I learned all kinds of things about the bayou from that show :-)
As for guilty viewing pleasure, I admit to watching some of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, not every season, but certain seasons. There, I admit it....
Except for sports, I don't watch much TV anymore. A lot of Netflix and Madden gaming
Ok, mine:
SVU or NCIS marathons on USA.
When TBS or TNT re-run "Independence Day" or "Twister", two of the 1990s best popcorn flicks.
Anything on daytime...if you ever want to feel GREAT about your own life, catch an hour of daytime television. I don't care if it is two (or more) uneducated women fighting over which village idiot if the father of their kid, or any of those hokey dating shows where mismatched people have to spend a day together (extra funny if booze is involved), or the trash talk shows, where Ricki, Doprah or Judge Judy interview this world's sideshow members.

Hay, hey, hay! I expect another insanely busy week, again. Ugh. Was in FL last week, Nancy's BBQ'd burnt ends special (topped with bleu cheese and chives on open face Texas Toast) was to amazing!! Then off to Vegas for the 3 day weekend...and just an FYI, Barstow is the armpit of America, I'm sure of it. I think I spotted the world's largest Motel...

I go away for a couple of days and the world seems to come unraveled. Kat, the Klatch is NEEDED, and the work of both you and SLT brightens a great many of our days. If the overlords do not get that, then let me know to whom I can vent my feelings.
And best wishes and many condolences to the family of Reeva Steenkamp. My thinking is that Pistorius is done like dinner. More sincere condolences to the loved ones of Mindy McReady. I was not a fan, but I think that woman was hurting for a long time. May you rest in peace m'am, and find the comfort that eluded you in thsi world.

Little bit of housekeeping: Our benign overlords asked us why there were so many Coffee Klatches on the page as they scrolled down, and on days when we have fewer posts (we're posting less, but working on longer-lead pieces), they sort of dominated the site.
Soooo - as a compromise, we're now adding a tag to each one as the new one publishes that makes it not show up in the main stream, just the most recent one. They're not gone, though.
