Mayor Michael Bloomberg, known in New York City for his tough regulations on everything from large sodas to smoking in Central Park, proposed a new target during his final State of the City speech Thursday: plastic foam containers. "Styrofoam increases the cost of recycling by as much as $20 per ton because it has to be removed," the mayor said. "Something we know is environmentally destructive, that is costing taxpayers money, and that is easily replaceable, I think, is something we can do without." "With Speaker (Christine) Quinn and the City Council, we'll work to adopt a law banning Styrofoam food packaging from our stores and restaurants," Bloomberg added. "And don't worry, the doggy bag and the coffee cup will survive just fine." |

Could you not have chosen a better title? You seem to be trivializing the Holocaust by ironically referring to the famous Martin Niemoller quote. Creepy!
Bloomberg is a nazi. just like when bill owens illigally made smokeing inside illigal in colorado, bloomberg has over reached his powers again, why do those dope alow it? Oh ya they are new yorkers, the biggest bung of trash in america.
And I wouldnt trivalize the holicost, just the jewsh role in it. 6million + were killed in the holicost, but their wasnt even 6 million jews in all of europe in that time, and guess what the census following ww2 showed the same amount of jews in europe than it did before ww2. Hence a few hundred of them were killed along with the millions of gypsies, hom o se xuals, blacks, and anyone who did not agree with hitler. It was a bad thing, but Dont swollow the zionist pill, or at the least, dont try to get me to swollow it.
So they'll use paper. Who cares. When he outlaws fast food that will be something though.
