Pssst! Got a sec to chat?

We are utterly thrilled when readers want to hang out and talk – whether it's amongst themselves or in response to pieces we've posted. We want Eatocracy to be a cozy, spirited online home for those who find their way here.

Consider the daily Coffee Klatsch post as your VIP lounge – the primary comments thread for readers who'd like to chat about topics not related to the articles we're running. That way, everyone knows where to find each other, and each post's comments section remains on topic.

I'm going to need for you all to give me your assessment of the cotton candy pic today. Just switched it.

"Like" I think. Weird costume and a grimace while eating the cc? On a Ferris wheel no less. I know I'm missing something!

How very sad, they are reporting that the nurse duped by the shock jock has committed suicide. I feel so horrible for her family.

Agree. You just never know what the fall out and consequences might be for things you might think are innocuous. So sorry to hear this bit of news.

I can see where one of these would come in handy sometimes:

Happy Friday, everyone! I just love getting up extra early to do a call when the time accommodates them, and then they cancel at the last minute! The best part of that was I got to decline the reschedule since I'll be on VACATION!!!
