WOW! This place has been busy! I've missed out on the fun!
Wish I could add something cool and important to the conversation but all I can say is I miss you all and hope to be back here more often. Cheers!
Hi – Missed you around here!
Yes, the boys have been misbehavin' the last few days, our esteemed Queen of Everything made a rare appearance today, and RH finally got "testilogical" and found his Hot Spot on the WiFi thingy. ;)
"thingy." A marvelous, multipurpose word. Love it.
A bit better and with broader application than "thing-a-ma-bob." Cheers to you!
I oughta build a list of these kinds of words. Doo-dad, watch-ma-call-it, what else?
I'm hesitant to ask for synonyms for testilogical.......................
Rumpleforeskin
eeeeeeewwwwwww......yuck.
Good afternoon from just North of the Border–Laredo.....or as they call it in Texas–Mexico City. My Special Thanks to my new Testilogically all things Internets and Googles person--JB Jingles. I now have WiFi in the truck and she is making fun of my Hot Spots. Go figure. Hope everyone is doing well.
OLE!!! Don't be a stranger, we miss you around here.
HUZZAH! Post early and often!
"testilogically"?? I prefer amazing thankyouverymuch. :) So, this is all it took to bring you back huh? You have been missed my friend.
You have me in tears laughing at your response to KAT's comment on the clementine thread. I still feel I'm in the hot-seat with her, so I refrained from adding insult to injury but could have run to the hills with her comment.
Yeah, I think she was baiting us.
LOL R2D2 Rick Rolls Obi Wan. (yes I was looking for one for you guys, but this is funny, so I gave it up to share this)
Priceless, JJ would love this.
More waiting, but at least I finally got my laptop to work so I can, too.
Dude looks like Kevin Bacon
But will he cook up with as much grease...?
*rimshot*
Morning all!
Truth: Dans le noir? specifically doesn't do the "weird foods" thing. No insects... about the "weirdest" thing on my plate was a slice of foie gras (might have been pate, but it didn't say pate on the menu, just Hudson Valley Foie Gras). Granted, I haven't had foie gras before this and it might have been a major surprise to anyone who objected for moral/ethical reasons. I knew going in that I was going for the White "anything" menu, but they specifically go for more standard fancy fair with some unusual flavor combinations/pairings.
Note: If one eats lamb and venison in close proximity, one may think they're eating goat due to the combination, as my table found out.
'Sup, Beyotches?!
'Sup, foo'
Good morning and Happy Tootsday (nods to RH).
Yes, the approved (by the stoopid voters of CA) $6 BILLION tax hike for schools, will not be used for schools, but for the stoopid train from San Francisco to LA, therefore they will be looking to up the tax rates again next year. Me thinks our gubenator has a deal with a train maker...that is all.
Does anyone subscribe to Americas Test Kitchen?
Had to googles it, and I have seen the nerdy guy before, but what do you subscribe to? And why does your enquiring mind want to know?? :)
I don't subscribe to anything food related. I bought a new stove ( the old one had one working burner) and want to treat myself to new cookware and was wondering what Test Kitchen recommends.
IF you are looking for a decent starter set, try this set: http://www.zappos.com/cuisinart-chefs-classic-14-piece-cookware-set-stainless-steel?zlfid=111&recoName=zap_pdp_acc
Want to spend a little more go this route with Al Clad: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/all-clad-stainless-steel-cookware-7-piece-set?ID=568147&CategoryID=7557#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D112%26ruleId%3D52%26slotId%3D3
Once you have a basic set, supplement it with a decent 8" or 10" inch non-stick plan to use for omelets or grilled cheese.
Awesome thank you SirB. And I didn't get Rick Rolled. : )
Da nada.
I do! I really enjoy it and I like to read their reviews of kitchen products as well. Have you seen Cooks Country?
Long time no see, great to have you around again. Yes, I checked out Cooks Country but you have to buy the premium content. What do you recommend?
I only have a subscription to the ATK magazine but I enjoy watching Cooks Country. As far as cookware reviews, you can look those up on the ATK website without having to subscribe.
Oops, sorry. It looks like you do have to subscribe or sign-up for a free 14 day trial.
Guess who's legal?
Besides Miley Cyrus.
Me! Got my Wisconsin driver's license three years in and one $180 ticket later. Alaska Bureau of Vital Statistics helped with the immense delay. Wisconsin wanted to know and see everything about me, favorite color and schlong size. Now I can legally shoot the turkeys I haven't been shooting at all. Plus, now I can go to the bar. Not that I want to, but knowing I can makes me feel like He-Man.
And I look darn snazzy in my picture. Wearing a tie and everything cause I had to be there at 7am, before work. (Yes, holy smokes, the DMV opens at 7 – and no, I'm never up at 7am)
YAY.
Congratulations!!
"Giggity giggity giggity goo!"
And my sphincter won't get so tight when a cop gets behind me.
In traffic, sickos.
Best show alive
One more reason you and I have pretty much identical humor.
DMV at 7am doesn't sound right. But at least it means you can go before work (not possible here in NY... nothing government wise opens before 8).
I know. It's effing awesome. Problem is that it has limited capabilities. Just the heavy stuff. Simple things go to the other DMV on the north side of town. This DMV is only open on Tues and Thurs from 7-5 and hardly anyone knows about it, so in and out ZOOM ZOOM
Morning crew!
Cold, rainy day in VA. Be good blogging today kiddies. Not!
There's a little something red under your chin.
Red Bull gives you wings.
Badump, bump. Shishhhh!
HA! Keep the rim shots going today.
LOL! And I gotta stay away from Urban Dictionary, rim-shot.
Morning from a snowy suburb of NY. Hurried up just to wait, and then wait some more.
Have a good day, everyone!
Thinking of you both. Keep me posted. Much love!
Good morning all. How is everyone doing today?
Good am to you, too! It's a sun shiney day here, and we have a bit of a warm up coming. Not bad for end of November! Have yourself a good day!
"Angus T. Jones, the 19-year-old actor who has played the "Half" man, Jake Harper, since 2003, calls the sitcom "filth" in a taped interview that recounts his religious experience." That is all.
That's what makes it so funny.
C'mon sleepyheads. Time ... to wake up ...
Good am! I'm up. I thought I was hearing thunder, nope, just your video. Thanks for the wake up call. Have a good day, now it's time to rumble!
Good morning, my sista! Whoa, way too early to hear that! I haven't had my coffee yet. AleeD- that would make a good alarm clock tune, because I'm totally awake now.
