An investigation is under way into a horrific collision in Hong Kong that resulted in the deaths of two visiting chefs from Heston Blumenthal's famous British restaurant, The Fat Duck.

Media reports and the Hong Kong Police Force have identified the dead as Carl Magnus Lindgren, 30, from Sweden; Ivan Aranto Herrera Jorge, 34, a Briton, as well as the driver of their taxi.

Blumenthal, who was also in Hong Kong, identified the bodies of the two chefs, according to a local newspaper, The Standard, which featured a photograph of him with police on Wednesday.

According to the Hong Kong Police, the accident occurred Monday morning when a bus was traveling downhill and hit two cars, crossed into the other lane and crushed the chefs' taxi against another bus.

That's too young. Just 30 and 34. May they be in the kitchen up in the sky.
