We've been waiting patiently and hungrily for the announcement of our new CNN colleague Anthony Bourdain's show, and at last it can be revealed. It's called "Parts Unknown" and will air on weekends beginning in spring 2013. Appetite whet? Tune into Piers Morgan tonight at 9 ET to hear what Bourdain and his Zero Point Zero crew will be serving up. Previously - Anthony Bourdain: Eat out and tip big to save NYC restaurants after Sandy |

LOVE Anthony Bourdain! Really enjoyed "No Reservations" and the "Layover". I like his sarcastic sense of humor, personality, and knowledge of the food industry. Look forward to "traveling" with him again. I wish him Good Luck with his new endeavor.
Love Him. Classic NY

Indeed...and he's classic anywhere.
Just gimme' my fix of Bourdain and nobody'll get hurt.
Welcome back, Tony! Don't be gone so long next time.
I've seen him multiple times getting a haircut in the upper east side barber shop. I think it's called quality barbers or something like that..
We look forward to his new show – he is great, informative and entertaining. One of the best personalities on TV – so he talks rough sometimes, oh dear me.
don't care. he lost all his edge a few years back when he started doing imitation Bizarre Food shows.
NAUSEATING JUST TO LISTEN TO HIM.
you're a douche.
I wish this smart-alecky, jerk would dry up and go away.
I have actually met him on three separate occasions and he is a very nice person.
this show with Hunter S. Thomspon as the host. the day I am watching Tv in Heaven.
I love all the people whining about his vulgar personality. Welcome to television in America for the last decade! There's a reason why MTV stopped showing music videos. If MTV (Music Television) would move to reality tv shows that are "vulgar" to say the least; I think it's safe to say that Bourdain is going to be safe with viewer population for his new show.
This is the jerk whose main argument for illegal immigration was it provided cooks and busboys for high end restaurants.
Not an argument, a fact. Have you noticed who is not complaining about illegal aliens? Businesses, especially hospitality industry which does not even have to pay most of their staff minimum wage or offer benefits.
A conceited and unattractive foodie – how low and irrelevant can CNN go?
bourdain's got a tv show and you don't ... now who's unattractive!
I always thought he came across as an arrogant jerk. Make that an alcoholic arrogant jerk.
Right on the money. All that cocaine took its toll.
If only he weren't so vulgar his shows would be more entertaining. Unfortunately, his "thuggishness" is very offputting, to say the least. Notice how many bleeps are on his shows??
anthony vulgar? did you just get out of a time machine from victorian england.this is 2012!!! sorry about your wasted vote on mitt romney..
One does not have to be vulgar to bring a point across.
Nah. "Phuque ewe" carry's considerably more weight than, "I believe you are uninformed, out of touch and very much mistaken." Like in this case.
Only among other vulgar people.
"You, dear friend, who talks so well, you can go to Hartford, Hereford and Hampshire." quit being such a prig. we get your point
offputting? can you use that in scrabble?
Adj. 1. off-putting – causing annoyance or repugnance; "an off-putting remark"
displeasing – causing displeasure or lacking pleasing qualities
2. off-putting – tending to repel; "The trappings of upper-class life are off-putting and sterile"- Elizabeth Hess
unappealing – not able to attract favorable attention; "they have made the place as unappealing as possible"; "was forced to talk to his singularly unappealing hostess"
thank you..can't wait for a challenge during my next scrabble match..
Bu-bu-but what if you're playing golf and your short game isn't up to par? Isn't that also off putting?
Scrabble dictionary says its legal.
Newsflash, there's a lot of us that speak that way. Swearing is to language as colour is to art, not strictly required but certainly make things more insteresting. There's a time and a place, as opposed to no time and no place.

This guy likes the sound of his own voice.
Exactly right, GGM. To Bob, and bitter people of his ilk, anyone who achieves any kind of success, even like getting promoted to French Fries, has sold out. Bourdain's move to CNN will allow him to get to places that he simply couldn't before, like Libya, Burma, etc.
I don't see howbeing affiliated with CNN will grant him access to many new places. Previous episodes of his shows have already been to a number of hostile places. I don't know that carrying a badge that reads CNN will make much difference in regards to access of any place/government/culture.
So, a show solely about Kentucky Fried Chicken? Who'd have thunk.
His show and Bizarre Foods are Great : )
I love his shows. My favorite episode was the one filmed at Chernobyl. It was spooky.
Looking forward to the new show. I will be re-watching No Reservations episodes during the long wait for Spring 2013.
Oh stop the petty bickering. You know you love him! Congrats Tony! We'll be watching!! Adore everything about you and your writing! Best of luck with your new endeavor!
Why is it called 'selling out' if a guy is successful? They say that about musicians, too... a band is cool if they're unknown, but once they have a hit, they've 'sold out'. I don't get it.
That was meant as a response to Bob.
officially sold out
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Could you elaborate? Looks to me like No Reservations, but with even more far-flung and potentially dangerous locales.
He's a chef. Not an underground punk band. He can "sell out" all he wants, he's got a family to provide for, you weirdo.
