Bees, bees, everywhere! 50,000 of them - on purpose.
Table 45 in the Cleveland InterContinental Hotel is nourishing a beehive on top of their building in an effort to eat more locally-grown food.
"We partnered with the Greater Cleveland Bee Keepers Association and they'll be working with our chefs to maintain it, keep it clean, remove the honey, and make sure that the bees are healthy" says David Schoeffler, the hotel's food and beverage director.
The restaurant and hotel are hoping to gather thirty to fifty pounds of fresh honey each year for special dishes and drinks.
"We keep calling it a 'great buzz' for Table 45," jokes Schoeffler.
