Moon cakes rock! A local place I stayed in serves them at 4 every day along with the local coffee, that I have to pass on, lest it keep me awake for 48 straight hours. Already had that on the way here.
That said, I need to move here. In one week, I have eaten enough seafood to cause me to start growing gills and I am learning how to merge in traffic as the contact sport the locals seem to enjoy. Forget electronics and textiles, the local growth industry should be in body and fender shops...
The legends around mooncakes and the festival are pretty neat, too.
Chickens , I want the biggest ones . I had ducks & peacocks before . Peacocks are great watch dogs . Lots of work to do & have build somethin to put our new travel trailer in – guess house will store everything & we will be living comfy cozy in the new camper :-) Very Excited ! Good morning all. Due to the time change, I will open the lounge via remote control. Chinese Tea and Moon Cakes are being served in honor of the Mid Autumn Festival this week. (the local version of Thanksgiving)
