Hmmmmm....a warm Kentucky bourgeius Perhaps? A play on words regarding pull it....a chicken or hen if I am correct? Yes, we push the definition of the common English language in regards to food or Veggies,or in times of a lapse of brain power...general common sense. I heard Fox "News" shut down some of it's message boards so my theory is that the Fox trolls have migrated to CNN to post ugly comments.
my modest opinion is that given how commonplace meanness is I think there is a genetic predisposition for bigotry in our argumentative and combative species. Is part of why I enjoy it here in this peaceful little corner of the internet.

@JBJ- not very many pediatric gastrointestonligts(sp) here. I've made some calls to Atlanta and am hoping to hear back soon and get her in. Her reflux is so bad that even with medicine, she is small for her age. She had severe coilic as an infant and the only way she could ever sleep was in a moving swing.
Aww, so sorry. I have a granddaughter who has had a lot of problems with lungs, on steroids, etc. It's so hard to see little ones being affected by ailments. Hope you have answers soon.

Baby Biddle is doing well, he can just be a bit fussy at the wrong time of day. Doesn't cry, but does more of a Dick Cheney grunt which give me comedic material if the timing is right otherwise it send me to the couch. Father-in-law has been here for the week and its been....well, um....kind of...aghhhh. Lets just say its not been that bad, but I am glad today is his day of departure.

How is everyone doing today?
Errands I hate this morning, then a half day at the office. Denver is looking at an eventual break from the heat over the weekend, which will be nice.
So if you read the posts from the visitors yesterday, I guess I am the crotchety one. I never perceived us as old though. Rather, an inclusive and easygoing group.
It's a blind men and the elephant situation. People see what they want to from their perspective, but it's not necessarily the whole picture. One day looking at the Klatsch doesn't give much of a sense of how deep it runs.
@Truth& Kat- I always have felt welcome here. Never thought it was anything but an easy going group! I've enjoyed "meeting" the people here.

Sorry to hear about the young one.....maybe a third opinion also would be in order? Driving Big Blue with a 53 foot trailer makes it kind of tricky to get into some places. What type of food do they have?
@ RH- I plan on doing as much research as possible. She has had terrible reflux all her life. Nothing has helped so far. Potty Pats has southern food and its in the style of Gone With The Wind. It's in downtown so it would be hard to access. I do believe they have decent parking garages, but Big Blue might not make it. They have excellent fried chicken. I try not to eat fried very often but I make an exception for them.
