    That is not a hot dog. Hot dog meat gets treated differently and gets turned into a slurry or emulsion(Not a true emulsion, but it's the term that is used). The nonhomogenous nature of this products disqualifies it from being a hot dog.

    Looks like just another case-less, smoked sausage to me. Other than weight, how is this distinctly different from the large smoked sausage logs you can get all across America? What is it about this sausage that qualifies it to be a hot dog?
