It's as hot as a frying pan out there! Summer has officially reared its sweaty head with temperatures nearing triple digits throughout most of the country.

    I just did my favorite summer lunch, which is a BIG bowl of salad, with bacon bits, oregano, croutons and either salmon or chicken, served with Gerard's champagne vinaigrette dressing.
