Been working in the yard all weekend. My white self is now red, and every idea is 10 times harder than it seemed when it was a good idea.
Oh, this is cool – found an avocado pit I forgot about in the pantry. NGF tried the toothpick method (to grow) and didn't work, so I pulled out my elementary skills and wrapped a pit in damp paper towels and placed it in a zip-lok bag in the dark pantry. Found it yesterday, split open with nice 4 inch roots. Potted it, we'll see what happens.

I have made it a point to remind all that this day is NOT "National Barbecue Day" but rather a day to honor our fallen AND Active Duty Military. My "Gentleman Fiend" served in the Navy for 5 years, including one tour on the USS Ticonderoga and one tour on Kodiak Island. I am proud of him!
