Why not get one of those camel bags so you can share with Mom and friends? It can also be used as a floatation device. Safety is always important in case you stagger and fall into the canal. :))

Good morning crew! Would our new visitor be considered a "cougar" or is she too young? I'm not as hip as RH thinks I am, ha ha. I am currently counting down the days/hours to vacay, hoo to the woo. :) In other news, hubs son probably missed his flight this morning from EWR....and hubs is not happy about it. I even had him call the boy yesterday as a reminder, but he "aSSumed" he didn't need to mention the time again to him.

Yes, I am here. Super duper busy this week for sure... Just heard from hubs, sure enough the boy missed his flight and will now land at LAX at 4:20 PM if he makes the next flight, he is on standby... Wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't done this before. Should he upgrade to a McDonald's watch??
I have often wondered why and how people who do things that result in pain in the tail consequences do not learn from them.

He learned his lesson and was good the last trip, arrived at airport 2 hrs early, but read the itenerary wrong this time, thought he left at 2 PM EST, when he was arriving at 2 PM PST....hubs should have known as he did this 2 years ago and missed not one, but two flights, finally got on the third one, but he was waaaaay late. I do his travel arrangements, always make sure it's a direct flight, and get him in at least 1 day early if we are planning anything just in case...oh and did I mention he's 52 years old?? LOL
Unless she's 30 & seducing TWO @ 14 y.o., then she's no cougar. Nice cup JB!

Short answer - it's tricky. Because we're a news org, on some stories, we can report, but not opine, or if we do offer an opinion, we need to give equal time to the other side. So we WILL be covering, to be sure. Weighing in is a slightly different matter.

Do you think a library can choose what books its patrons have access to read?
IMHO--Censorship of the printed word has been going on for some time. Small towns,Large City's, it doesn't matter. There is always someone out there that thinks they know what is Best for you and your mind. How's the Furries?

I agree with you, but with one point, B&N is a private corporation, most libraries are taxpayer funded and in this economy sometimes the only place people can go to get their reading materials.
