To me, this is a classic example of how the profoundly average people among us (unfortunately the statistical norm) run things.
It seems like the only "acceptable" response from the stultifyingly (I just made a new word), tediously ordinary folks is to react rather than THINK. Their first priority os to cover their a$$es., THEN, and only then, attend to the actual issue.

Good Payday Friday everyone! Plans? Yes. Exciting? Mas y menos. Thrift store shopping Sat. – a first for us. Sun. is the annual company brunch for employees with over 5 years in. Phenomenal food and Hawaiian shirts abound.
I forgot about Sinko de Mayo! I will be flying home Sunday, maybe have hubs go to local hispanic market and pick up some goodies, they make amazing food there and fresh tortillas daily. Your brunch sounds fun, what types of foods do they bring/serve??

The brunch is held & catered by a local yacht club and everything is top shelf, right down to the good silverware & fine china. Pick-your-own-item omelets, endless chafing dishes of eggs, bacon & a nice spicy sausage, breakfast breads, huge bowls of fruit, fried chicken, carved roast beast and a dessert table that is to.die.for.

That's all I remember from Spanish class. Took it for ease of curriculum. I laughed at a joke she told once in class (she only spoke in Spanish) and I was the only one that laughed. That tipped her off that I knew more than the Spanish I class. Then later she found out I had two half Mexican sisters at the time. She made me switch to Spanish II.

The temperature is UP! About 92 yesterday, but I love it. Doc checked the peeps yesterday and just very slight 'trailing' going on still, so not so dizzy unless I overdo it...picked up daughter at 11:45, went to lunch at In-n-Out burger, then hit the outlet mall, sadly no Coach store...then we had Carrabbas take out for dinner, Chicken Bryan, salad, and asparagu for dinner, and margaritas of course. :)
What A Burger will hunt you down....Glad the Doc thingy went well...WD is at the Beauty Shop 'cuz she really needed it. Hitting the Casino today?
Odie needs to go to the barber too for a trim...not sure yet on the casino, maybe go for dinner later to Ling and Louie's inside Wld Horse Pass.... :)
Don't forget The Pink Pony in Scottsdale. Might as well get Mom ready for the Red Light District. :))

When I was leaving, he decided to run down the steps from the loft, and lost his footing and rolled down the last four or five steps. Sat dazed and confused at the bottom. Looked somewhat amusing actually.
Poor kitty probably wondered who pushed him from behind. Hope he's ok.

Secretariat's average speed was 37.8 mph. Man O'War had an average speed of 36.9 mph. Down the home stretch in the Kentucky Derby Secretariat was running 49 mph.
WD is faster at 38.201100. while chasing squirrels and Rabbits at Churchill Downs. Luckily it was not a Sloppy Track. Ever taken the tour through Churchill Downs? It's fun and you get to see the backside where the Horses are kept, plus you get to fight over horse shoes when the Vets come in to re-shoe the horses. I use the Horse liniment on WD if she chases too many squirrels. Kentucky is a Beautiful State. :))
