Pssst! Got a sec to chat?

We are utterly thrilled when readers want to hang out and talk – whether it's amongst themselves or in response to pieces we've posted. We want Eatocracy to be a cozy, spirited online home for those who find their way here.

Consider the daily Coffee Klatsch post as your VIP lounge – the primary comments thread for readers who'd like to chat about topics not related to the articles we're running. That way, everyone knows where to find each other, and each post's comments section remains on topic.

Morning Ms.P-This sounds like harsh punishment for being moderated–basement clean out. Tho I've only been Moderated a few Hundred times,I should have the cleanest house on the block. :)) Don't work too hard this weekend and give the furries a belly rub for me.

      Happy Saturday from earthquake country.....

We had a modest shaker (4.1) this AM and it's all over the news as if it was a really big one (6 or 7)....(sigh) : P

Bon après-midi mes amis! What a crazy morning. How's everybody's Finally Friday going so far?

Bales, square grouper, as long as the man in the pic is happy. ;)

    FYI for a sunny Friday:

Round bales [which are in a net wrap], typically weigh 300 to 400 kilograms (660–880 lb), are more moisture-resistant [than square bales], and pack the hay more densely (especially at the center). Hay baled before it is fully dry can produce enough heat to start a fire. Round bales are quickly fed with the use of mechanized equipment.

Happy Friday Chumarinos! Anyone have any choice plans (besides our European trekker)?

We're making plans for another Vegas getaway later in May. Paris or Caesar's. Decisions, decisions......

Hi all, I'm butt deep in spring cleaning. I've got the 1800 junk guys coming this afternoon to haul out a ton of 15 years of accumulated stuff. Furries are nervous.

Good morning everyone! It's Friday again and I brought in a new batch of ice cream, including some coffee for the coffee lovers out there.

Kinda sucks that the cats lost last night, but that means I can change focus over to the Heat's playoff run, beginning with the Knicks tomorrow...
