I'm sorry.... I'm all for conservation and all of that, but that baby would be swimming in a large pot at the end of the testing! That and a California Condor Egg Flambeau, or a nice Goliath Grouper Filet! Now we're talking Dinner!

He was released safely to the ocean where he was immediately spotedd by a large squid who came and devoured him. The squid wanted to thank all involved for locating and deklivering his delicous meal!

kudos to those who set this creature free. may you be a model for those of us who think nothing of boiling animals alive for our convenience sake and to satisfy our gluttony and selfishness.

Lobsters of this size have been growing for a long period of time. It probably has no exceptional genetic makeup but has been allowed to flourish without hinderence. Still a big a$$ lobster. Were you slobbering like I was?.....I thought so

I worked in a Lobster restaurant in CT. This thing is not the biggest I've seen, but it definitely is around 30 years old if not older. Good for them for letting him go.

Then one of 3 things is true, you 1) don't dive, 2) don't dive often enough or 3) don't dive often enough in the right places.

That would've made a feast for the gods. Kidding, but alas, good for them for releasing the lobster. Now it has a second chance in living its life, hopefully undisturbed.

Good deed to release it. It must have taken 20 years , or more for it to have reached this size and weight. only the crushers weight half the total. Wonder how many get to grow that size and weight before they are taken by predators, or man.
