While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday.

Walking in a chocolate wonderland - December 16 is National Chocolate-Covered Anything Day!

Shake, shake, shake that chocolate syrup bottle, bring on the chocolate fondue and ladle up the hot fudge sauce because today would make even Willy Wonka proud.

It's your chance to indulge in chocolate-covered anything! Let everything from holiday classics, like chocolate-covered cherries, to the more bizarre (chocolate covered ants anyone?) tempt your palate today.

Dip pretzels, nuts, strawberries, dried fruit, Oreos, pineapple, bananas or even bacon in chocolate fondue for a sinfully sweet treat. Sick of s'mores? Try double chocolate-covered toffee grahams instead. Not only are these great to sit out as snack for your guests, but they're quick and simple to make as well.

And if you just want to drink straight from the bottle of chocolate syrup today, we're pretty sure that falls under the "anything" category.

Chocolate covered BBQ chicken? Some things are just better with "the" sauce. Good idea though.
