Ok Klatchers, I am out. Will talk to y'all in the morning. Have a good and safe evening one and all.
Drive safe and "see" you tomorrow!
I thought immediately of Queen and Things 1&2 when I saw this...

Saw that.
A GRAND disaster, kid-wise......
Had 3 kids myself and I'm SO glad they never made a mess THIS big!!!!
Alright gang, I am busting out of here for the week. Hope everyone enjoys Turkey Day!
Be safe Bro,and have a great Holiday.
Think we could expand the weekly pool to include these FINE athletes?

I always that was what is referred to as "Fantasy Football"...
I'm not even going to hazard a guess as to what some of their proposed team names were but I think we now know what Jerv's extracurricular activities entail.
Primetime Game.....Dallas Ding A Lings vs. The Tampa Bay Tah Tahs. Sponsored by Fredricks of Hollywood.
And a halftime show sponsored by Norforms.
I'm STILL chuckling on that one.
Years ago, I used to go out with a former DJ. When Big Red rolled into town every month, she would make some joke about "No Sugar Tonight" ...
Ok, something seems very wrong about picking football wins on Tuesday, but here goes...
Packers,
Denver
49ers and
NYG.
Boo-Ya!
I must somehow stay ahead of the pack so here are my picks.....Packers, Chargers,49'ers and NOLA !! You saw it here first.
Let's try this again without moderation.
Here are the games for Week 12:
Green Bay vs. Detroit: GB to win. Their cheese hats are so whimsical.
Denver vs. San Diego: Denver on top. I'm not really sure what electrical charges have to do with San Diego. They need a new team name. How about the Carmen San Diegos? Start the pet!tion, folks.
San Fran vs. Baltimore: My allegiance to the Colts prohibits me from voting for Baltimore. The whole midnight move incident is still too fresh.
NY Giants vs. NO: As irritating as the "Who Dat?" nation is, I think a saint has better karma than a giant. Plus the fleur-de-lis is very pretty.
With those picks you will likely be 4-4 this week. Interesting reasoning behind picking the teams, but a win is a win. I second your picks.
Analyzing injury reports and special teams productivity is so overrated. Basing your picks solely on team colors or the ferocity of their mascot is the way to go.
Agree with overthinking things. I sometimes think the non-biased approach (see also Fleur de Lis are pretty, I like Tigers better than Bears ) gives you better odds.
I do have to say that on the whole the US has better football team names and mascots. Canada on the other hand, not so much. Argonauts? Roughriders? Add in a police force nicknamed The Mounties and the whole country is set up to be one big gay pride parade.
Jerv must be from Canada then.
Have you seen any Japanese Baseball team names lately?
I knew I detected a hint of smug, Candian superiority under his Virginia exterior.
LOL! Y'all are too fast for me! Gonna call it a day.
Nicely Done. You may have a chance to crawl out of the basement yet. :))
Some good nosepicks there. The only problem with renaming the Chargers would be keeping track of their location. I mean really, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?
I picked the games from the teams with similar numbers on the NFL site. Is that how I'm supposed to do it? Also, does anybody really pay attention to where the Chargers are now? Random question: Whatever happened to the Rams?
They moved to St. Louis...
Exactly my point! When was the last time a ram was spotted in St. Louis? I don't even Dodge has a factory located there.

I swear, you just cannot make this stuff up...

I am only surprised he is not already in Congress...
or in a straight jacket......
WTH?!
Guy was found hiding in a porta potty, so as to peep on women doing their thing, and now wants to act as his own attorney i court. I swear, you cannot make this stuff up.
LMAO! I'm surprised Sir B is not in the photo with him.
I was still circling the block trying to find a parking space large enough for the septic tank truck.
LMAO! I choked on my water laughing at that!
So, Dear Leader, will you be doing another television spot on the big day? I remember last year, you reportedly did several. Any previews for this year?
Several! Spatchcock!
I am surprised you got that past the ModBots...:)
Here, let me try that. Spatchcock.
Can you flash a secret Coffee Klatch gang symbol or word as a shout-out to us?
Good morning all. Loads of work today and tomorrow. Makes me feel like I'm...
Totally cool fx in that vid.
"Every time I hear the dirty word exercise I wash my mouth out with chocolate."
Good morning class! It is as quiet as a cemetary here...shhhhh. But traffic has been a bear the last two days, hoping it will ease up some tomorrow. For those who will not be around tomorrow, I wish you and your family a very, very safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!
Howdy Ho! Anyone have a strong opinion about the INfamous "super committee?" I hesitate to say much lest I get arrested.......
Expecting a committee of ANY kind to get anything done is outright laughable. Expecting a committee of congressional stooges to get anything done will prove impossible. I think the ENTIRE congress needs to be replaced ASAP and that we need a balanced budget amendment ASAP. To spend so much as a dime more than we bring in should be nothing short of criminal.
If anyone believes that we will get out of this without BOTH tax increases AND spending cuts, they are delusional.
Hear! Hear! Agree!
Yup, you have my vote on that post as well. Preach on!
If you really want some intellectual food for thought, not to mention a TON of laughs, track down a copy of the 1998 film "Bulworth" starring Warren Beatty. It is about a senator, who basically has a nervous breakdown, want to commit suicide, and starts telling the blatent truth. GREAT film, but it pulls no punches, especially about lobbyists. GREAT stuff.
My fav quote from the film (edited, so as not to get modboted)
" Rich people have always stayed on top by dividing white people from colored people/ but white people got more in common with colored people then they do with rich people/ we just gotta eliminate them. White people, black people, brown people, yellow people, get rid of 'em all/ All we need is a voluntary, free spirited, open-ended program of procreative racial deconstruction/ Everybody just gotta keep (doin') everybody til they're all the same color "
I will make a point of seeing Bulworth. Thanks!
The poll on the main page shows that 56% of those voting are "outraged" by the stupor committees failure...
Good morning, friends. Rainy, dreary day here in the Circle City.
Good morning to you, your highness...How is the royal family doing today?
The royal family is doing well. Thing 1 has big plans to go to the hardware store with my dad today so that's "very exciting". I think they are picking up some nails but the hardware store is Thing 1's Disneyland.
Oh yeah, I remember me and my siblings going to the hardware store with grandpa. Great memories. The man could fix anything.
This just in. "Now that the super committee has failed to rein in debt, lawmakers face another dilemma: whether to extend the payroll tax holiday, or let it expire." That is all.
Morning crew!
Last day of of the work week for me today. Cold, wet, and soupy fog here in DC. Supposed to clear up by Thursday. Great day for Football too.
Morning Bro...Stay tuned as the Queen has been sweating over the Picks for this week. I hope You,Momma and Lil' Biddle have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Be safe in traveling and if you need any Scotch ( for medicinal purposes only ) shoot me an e-mail.
LIkewise to you and yours. Grandpa won't be there, so the scotch will be enojyed rather than required for medcinal numbing needs. Christmas is a whole different story as we have three weekends in December where we will have a vistor other than Santa. Ohhhh family.......
Sadly, I remember the G&P commercial very well. However, that was one of my favorite candies. Set me up with a lifetime love of black licorice. Wet and cold in SNJ today, but clearing up for T-Day with a high in the low ot mid-50s.
Stay warm up that way....Hope you,Mom and the Family have a Great Turkey Day. I think WD and I will be wearing shorts on Thursday.
Post photos, please!
No Photos...Don't want people getting sick before Dinner time. Here is a visual tho....A Hawaiian shirt with Turkeys and Santa Claus on it...Shorts,skinny white legs with black socks and sandals. That should get everyone in the Holiday Spirit. :))
Pass the bleach please... :)
I forgot to mention my NEON Green suspenders. Adds a little "class" to the outfit.
Good morning all. Looks like a chilly morning ahead for Denver before a mild afternoon.
How is everyone doing today?
Good Morning Bro....Waiting on the rain to stop and then go pick up the trailer with chairs, tables and other decorations for the Shelter. How You Doin'? What's the forecast for the Turkey Day Hunt?
Doing swell here in VA. Gonna clear up by Thanksgiving so that is a good thing. Looks like poor KC didn't stand a chance last night.
Looks like we are expecting sunny skies and highs in the sixties for turkey day and the related hunting activities. Should be fun.
Be safe with the pickup and delivery and take WD along to keep the groupies at bay. You know how you tend to attract them...LOL
Hahahahha...You know me too well.....Now if they only had teeth that would be a plus...
Well, when you have a heart as big as your native state of Texas, I think you will draw them from ALL ages. Really, what you are doing is nothing short of awesome. Really.
I 2nd that emotion, "nothing short of awesome"!
Good morning everyone! 1 day closer to Turkey Day and eating large amount of yummy food :-)
Morning JJ. Thanks for the Sweet Potato Gratin recipe.
Ya'll is singular. All ya'll is plural.
Good Morning All.....Dang, that's some good coffee this morning. Raining in Katy today...YAY !! WD has double checked my figures and here are Week 11 NFL NosePickers Standings.....
1. RH...........26-15--4-0 on picks
2. Truth........23-15--2-2 on picks
3. Jerv..........23-16--2-2 on picks
4. Queen???14-14--0-4 on picks and sinking faster than the Dow Jones Index.
5. SirB...........11-5--3-1 on picks-Was it the Jets?
Let's make it a Great Day All. :)
Good morning all. Looks like Rich has pulled ahead in the standings. Good job! Overcast and rainy in VA as well but will clear up by turkeyday.
Good Morning Lil' Buddy, I got Lucky...Thank God for Cleveland. Suppose to clear out this afternoon and be 72 on Turkey Day.
Hey, dude, did you read the article in Land Line about the big Mexican truck pot bust? Didn't waste any time did they?
I missed that one...Let me go check it out........
Couldn't find the article on the website. I do know that a Grain Hauler was stopped outside Houston over the weekend on a Dea set-up bust. Couple people shot and one died.
I don't have the link but here is a cut and paste of the article.
By Land Line staff
Federal customs agents uncovered $1.5 million worth of marijuana hidden among a load of watermelons that was heading into the U.S. from Mexico.
On Monday, Nov. 7, Customs and Border Protection officers at the Mariposa port of entry noticed an anomaly during an X-ray inspection of a truck at the border crossing, according to a CBP news release. On closer inspection, agents found 128 bundles of marijuana.
Agents found nearly 3,000 pounds of marijuana bundled among fresh watermelons.
The 44-year-old Mexican driver was arrested and put into custody by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security investigations, the news release stated. The truck and trailer were seized.
Thanks...Interesting that they first tried to enter into Arizona and not Texas.
