My well traveled chocolate bar... Hershey's Special Dark bar was born in CA, went to Madison, WI and back, then on to Phoenix, AZ and back, now on to Sarasota, FL. I'm afraid this is it's last stop though....mmmmmmm
Do tell, Milady. Why are thee carrying about the realm Special Dark Hershey bars? Do you have a special libation you've been anticipating pairing with said bar?
Nothing so creative, hubs bought them because I do like them, but I guess I wasn't in the mood to eat it in WI or AZ, but FL, yes, the chocolate bar has made it's last flight! :)
Well, have a great afternoon everyone. I'm leaving early to vote, though I doubt it will change anything. Might not be in tomorrow.
I am a huge coffee fan! I need to find a place that makes drawings in the foam like this: http://imunchie.com/hartensteins/munchies/cappuccino-with-love
Made scrambled eggs over the weekend so I'm curious, when you make scrambled eggs, do you stir them up first in a bowl or do you stir directly in the frying pan? I gotta go with the bowl first.
Bowl first. And for the love of all that is holy, NEVER use metal utensils in a teflon pan. Bride did that and ruined the thing. Plastic on teflon only.
Depends on how lazy I want to be, how much yellow I want in my scrambled eggs and how thoroughly cooked I want them. If I want them to be really yellow and fluffy, I'll mix them in a bowl, along with any spices, salt or pepper I'm putting in. Then I cook them on low heat until they're really cooked.
I have to admit, though, that my favorite way is to dump them directly in a pan and cook them like fried eggs until the whites start the get done, then crack the yolk and scramble them really quickly. The yolk is a little less done, and I get kind of a marbled white and yellow look.
I'm really starting to hate the mod-bot. It better watch out or be destroyed.

Apparently I am not allowed to answer your question. The mod-bot says no. Again, can't figure out why. No words with t i t or @ s s in them at all. I'm getting pretty fed up with it.
That plucks my nerves as well. Did you try using a different email address?
I'm posting just fine with this email address. I think it picked up something that I had no clue was somehow offensive. It's ridiculous.
I think I speak for the class when I ask you to go #$&@ yourself.
!!!!!
Enraged at the mod-bot now. Justadude gets to say d i c k k head, and I get moderated for no discernible reason?! And my post(s) are STILL awaiting moderation? Come on.
And now both posts have simply disappeared instead of saying they are awaiting moderation.
dark cloud overhead rumbles dangerously as lightning flickers
Still stalking I see...and still hanging on to a comment from a week or more ago? Pretty pathetic really.
Mice do tend to aim for the tiniest crumbs. And I understand that's how just-in got his name: by being hung like one.
Hung like a crumb! I like it!! LOL
Bowl first while the pan is heating up and/or you're melting butter. When I'm just making them plain, I've nuked them and they've turned out ok. Crack 'em in a 2 cup-sized pyrex measuring cup, whisk or fork whip 'em up, add a touch of milk and nuke 'em – right in the pyrex.
bowl first with a splash of milk and some oregano and/or basil. yummy!
I used to have a girlfriend who tried cinnamon in scrambled eggs. It did NOT work. Niether the relationship or the idea. Epic fail on both counts.
I actually like cinnamon sugar eggs...but the other half is NOT a fan. However he only an egg person when they are eggs in basket, quiche, or egg salad style anything else is a no go.
bowl with a little milk or water
I use a mai tai glass, a little water, and add some parmesan cheese and black peppa, yum.
I've done both (using a non-metal spatula in the pan) and I can't tell a difference in the finish product. It all depends on how lazy I fell at the time.
I am here... really I am.
Turns out that Mondays will always have a meeting during my lunch hour, which is the only time they don't track how long one has been on non-work sites (and if you're on outside sites "too much" outside of lunch they can do anything from dock pay to fire you and ask the contract company for money back).
Total bummer, Mil. I have very limited sites I'm allowed to go to but since I am online almost all day doing my job, I get to slide by on my internet time.
For me, the websites that are blocked depend a lot on the meta-tags in the HTML behind them or domain names. Some are just blocked by usage status and such.
But they have a people can go outside of the network, unless otherwise blocked, for X hours per month. I got snagged on it because I would have CNN and my local newspaper websites on in the background... and apparently they both started auto-updating, which racked up my "apparent" usage, even when I wasn't looking at them.
So I have to keep them off unless it's during lunch.
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah wow bungles is an IBM'er blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Never could stand the Smurfs. Just creepy little bas tards.
Indeed.
Agreed about the smurfs.
More things that creep me out:
Russel Brand
Drew Barrymore
Spiders
Inadvertently catching an eel while ocean fishing (danged thing wrapped itself around my arm while I was taking the hook out)
The Real Housewives of anywhere
That Larry King has so many wives.
add the muppets from Labyrinth to that list. I'm still terrified of most muppets/puppets because of that movie
Layrinth... I watched it as a kid and got it right away. I have no idea if I would get it if I watched it for the first time as an adult. Of course, it might have helped that by the time I was old enough to watch it, the movie had been out for quite some time. Having teenagers in the room singing along takes most of the scary out of the movie.
ET creeped me out as a little kid, actually. I had nightmares about ET dolls coming to life, and I'd never seen the movie.
I couldn't stand ET either. That little fracker, "ET phone home." Ugh.
It seems like a lot of '80s kids movies were meant to scare the bejeebers out of the kids they were aimed at. I can't figure that out.
In 1984, I met a gal at a new year's eve party who was a moedl. A real, true model. I felt like I hit the lotto when she gave me her number. She wanted to see "Dune", which was a movie that was approximately four and a half days long. Spent the duration wondering "WTH is this movie about?"
80"s movies like "Howard the Duck" and "Critters"? Their stink factor gives me the creeps. HA!
Take a look at this list. There were lots of movies that were good ... and others that ... weren't. ;)

Truth, hahaha! I can imagine you were tripping out when the huge worms starting appearing. It is a totally crazy sci fi flick.
It mad me mad that they remade Karate Kid and Tron. Classics, I tell ya.
Have you seen Tron? I haven't yet, but I want to since it's supposed to be more like a sequel than a remake. At first, I wasn't happy about a Karate Kid re-do, but once I heard Will Smith was behind it, I knew it would be worth a shot. And it was.
I can't believe some d0uchewagon remade "Footloose". I really enjoyed missing that when it came out.
Actually, I agree for the most part, but the karate kid remake was actually not too bad. Jaden Smith brought something new to the role. Though for the most part, I agree that remakes are a BAD idea.
Anyone attempting to remake "Casablanca" would need to be beaten, then shot, then beaten again.
I understand the industry wanting to remake a good movie, try to make it better and make some $$$ off it. What they haven't learned yet is they rarely succeed. More often than not, the remakes are stinkers, like the Superman re-boot. What hacks me off is when they remake something like Starsky & Hutch and spoof it.
The Tron remake was actually a sequel. So didn't bother me. I didn't bother to watch the karate kid remake. He doesn't even learn karate, it was kung fu!
I was really young the first time I saw it, and the scene where they try to take her head off was just game over for me. I tried watching it with some friends in college and still couldn't get over that part...the muppet movie ads on TV are driving me insane. Also not a fan of puppet episodes...which is yet another reason why I watch a lot of HGTV and other channels where they are less likely to pop up.
Marsupials scare me
flying c0ckroaches (crawling ones? meh)
nails on a chalkboard (they're like ... nails on a chalkboard!)
hearing "dumb ole useless guy" engineer talking sweetly (shudder)
silverfish
nasty, food-filled teeth
mole crickets
I grew up with Smurfs. They never bothered me.
Clowns. Not figurines or toys but honest to gosh adults dressed as clowns. I'm not hyperventilating, vomiting phobic about them but I am keeping the boys away from them and mentally noting the license plate number of every window-less van in the parking lot.
Also, eyeballs. Imagine the squishy pop they must make when crushed.
You might appreciate the clown abuse here:
What is that next to the cup of coffee? Looks kind of like a piece of cold veggie pizza (extra cheese, sun-dried tomato, black olive). My kind of breakfast. Although, I really prefer my cold pizza with hot chocolate.
I wonder where SirB and MTM are. Hope they are alright.
Attention all Gleeks: Fox television today stated that this will be the last season of "Glee", due to declining viewership, cast expense and creative difficulties. No word yet on what will be taking its place on the lineup.
My sister-in-law is going to be PISSED!
My sister-in-law is going to be very peeved at this news...
where did you hear this horrible news?!?
Cheerio's today to everyone............!
Trademarked yourself, huh? Has there been an imposter MicheleG hanging around?
Not that I know of. Still me, was me, and I think pretty much going to stay me.
I simply "branded" myself in a painless kind of way...............(actually forgot to take the teensy letters off)
Someone was impersonating me yesterday. I hate when that happens...
Now that feels so much better...
Send out the clones!
Good morning, Klatschkies! Feeling good down here in SE Florida, especially after a cup of some English Breakfast Tea. I gotta start more of my days with this stuff!
Good morning, beautiful people!
You rang, Your Majesty?
Morning chums. I brought breakfast cake. Okay, really it's just cake, but that's what I wanted for breakfast, so it's now breakfast cake. It's red velvet with cream cheese frosting. Cream cheese is a breakfast condiment. Just sayin'.
I hope anyone in Oklahoma is safe today. An earthquake and then a tornado? Harsh man. Just harsh.
Hello everyone! Took yesterday off for a wonderful three day weekend. Love it. Of course, now I'm paying for it by answering tons of emails. Meh, so is life.
Good morning everyone! Busy busy day planned so not sure how often I'll be around. Trying to do some prep for the next round of training I have coming up....
Good morning from the right coast? With the time change Sunday it's not so bad, only 2 hrs out of my comfort, I mean sleep zone!
Left coast checking in! It's early, but, I am trying to prep for my vacation. Driving to LA, today and flying out tomorrow.
I see someone left the Klatsch door open again, last night... Perhaps we should install a keypad.
I'm confused. How do we know the door was left open?
Ditto. what am I missing?
Is it because someone let in the Rhino?
Good morning everyone.
Please and thank you: define terms?
Hmm, apparently I'm still firing on 7 of 8 cylinders. What terms are you asking me to define?
Rhino
1. rhi·no: noun \ˈrī-(ˌ)nō\
Definition of RHINO: money, cash
Origin of RHINO: origin unknown
First Known Use: 1670
2. rhino: noun
plural rhinos also rhino
Definition of RHINO: rhinoceros

From Urban D!cktionary

An older man on the prowl for a younger woman and by definition, the gender opposite of the cougar.
2. (you'll have to look this one up yourself)
3. (ditto)
4. Rhino
Acronym for: Really Here In Name Only.
Persistent non-attender. Used to describe a person who is on the books of an establishment or organization, but rarely shows up, such as long-term-sick employees or school truants.
#4 is starting to make sense now. Unless the poster was inferring they were being "nosy."
Gotta go car shuffling. BBS!
I am SOOOO slow this morning..................thanks!
For the next two weeks, I blame ours and anyone else's brainfarts on the consarnded, gehosehblatin', goodfernuthin' time change. Who's with me?
I'm with ya on that note. I can't stand the time change. Gets me all convoluted mixed up.
And where is vacation taking you??
Present on the front row, and now...zzzzzzzzzzz.
Good morning all. Coffee is going and it looks like we have smurfberry crunch cereal if you are hungry, but after reading about Lohan appearing in Playboy, I don't think I will be hungry for the rest of this year.
Now if anyone needs me, I will be looking for some bleach.
Morning, sir, thanks for the coffee! And I thought Lindsay was to be the centrefold for Convict Quarterly...
Here's some bleach for your eyes. Just please make sure to save some for the rest of us.
I thought play boy had more self respect.
Hahaha! You know, I saw a photo of her today before going into jail again and she looks terrible. There gonna have to touch up those photos a lot.
I'm always shocked when I hear her age. She looks like she's in her mid 30s. I actually feel sorry for her sometimes. Once you start making very public bad decisions, it's probably very hard to get back to good decisions.
Agreed. There was potential there at one time but after this photo shoot, she's washed up.
Wasn't Lohan released from jail the same day she checked in because of overcrowding?
Kim Kardashian prenup gives her the option to keep her wedding ring is she wants. That is all.
Now normally, I like the ladies, but Kardashian is the type who makes me want to act with restraint and discretion. I am just saying.
You'd have to wear a full body condom with that heifer.
Turkey or Ham?
Both!
