I think this is one of the weirdest Klatch days on record. We are all over the posting map not only "physically" but we are also generating at a "randomness factor" that surpasses any prior scramble................and that didn't make much sense either.....................
we just hafta get this thing in the right direction AND disable the modbots. We are reaching "critical mass."

So we need to find a bomb shelter that can not only keep us safe from the upcoming zombie apocalypse, but also from a total Klatsch meltdown...

There's always the Chumarino's Cave. Or the Lounge's dungeon is pretty secure. Water-tight, too. We'll just have to re-stock it after Sir Bid's NFL victory party.

That said the modbot can get really annoying, especially given that we can spend the time to type out a message, sometimes something urgent, only to see the moderation message...If there is frustration, it is at the Ghost in the Machine, not at the ModBabes...:)

Oh this is going to get ugly... they just announced a round of layoffs for NY state employees from one of the two state employee unions.
There were signs earlier for the member voting on a deal with the governor (one that didn't actually guarantee that there wouldn't be layoffs even if they said yes to it, so I can understand why a number of people would have said no)... and over this someone put an additional sign: To the 19,000 members that voted No, thank you. Maybe you could help me move out my stuff on my last day of work.

I had two posts yesterday that got moderated IN REPLY to someone and when I checked this morning, they had been "approved" but disconnected from their proper place in the chain. They went to the bottom on the chain as if they were among the earliest posts. Why does it DO that!!!!!??

Again - it's just the software! I did, however, look in the Pending queue, and one of yours used the word b*tch. The software simply will not let that through. Even if you're talking about "B*tch-slapping a moderator." Which you really oughtn't.
I know you're being playful, but still - please remember that Sarah and I are real people and we're working as hard as we possibly can. We had around 1,500 comments come through yesterday, about 100 of which ended up in the moderation queue. Having to sift through those on top of creating content is a huge job and we NEED your patience - ideally without being called names.

Yeppers Rosh Hashanah started last night at sundown so time to eat all your honey, apples, and pomegranates in order to insure a sweet and fruitful new year :-) My Challah is also doing it's thing at home and then tonight I will be braiding it and then enjoying it...hopefully I will be able to get it round this year!
Well then, I'll have to check if we have any of that stuff when I get back home.
In the meantime, I think I'll enjoy this tasty chorizo, bacon & ham omelette & fries that I got from the cuban cafe two blocks down, along with some green Tabasco sauce.

I am hoping to avoid meds, so I have knocked off all caffeine, salt and the like. That caused a pretty good drop, so i am hoping that will be enough. I still have plenty of time before the college requires me to enroll, which is how I got flagged in the first place. I am scheduled to give blood this weekend, so they will document me there as well.
Grrr...I keep getting moderated.

Good for you dude. If I dropped about 15 lbs I probably could get off my BP kill pills but I'm too damn lazy.
It all came about when I decided to go back to college to become an emt. A physical was required, so I went in and the flagged me at 175/120. Told me to change immediately, so I quit all caffeine and salt, and i have been coming down pretty well. I tested last weekend at 139/96, which for me is GREAT. I am slated to give blood this weekend and if they test me to be acceptable, I will re-submit my documentation, so i can register for January enrollment at school.
A lot of hassle for community college, imho, but I understand why.
139 is pretty good. It used to be considered normal until just recently when they lowered the threshold.
