While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday. Get your coffee buzz going - September 29 is National Coffee Day! It's the drink that gets you going and the lifeblood of fine hard-working folks all over the world. It even inspired Johan Sebastian Bach to write "Coffee Cantata" about caffeine dependence - now that's some serious java love! Sufi Baba Budan supposedly smuggled coffee beans from Yemen to India in 1670 by strapping them to his chest. Soon, coffee spread to Italy, all of Europe, Indonesia and the Americas. So the next time you take a sip, give Sufi a little fist pump. Not only can you brew coffee in a multitude of ways - do you take it black, or like a little coffee with your sugar? - you can also include it in your favorite recipes. No matter how you get your coffee fix today, here's to hoping you don't suffer from the mother-of-all caffeine headaches. |

I thought EVERYDAY was National Coffee Day. It is in my neck of the woods.
Getting constantly Moderated has turned me into a coffee junky.:))
The moderation software seems to initially flag the IP address of the potty mouth and then moderates Everything from that IP, good or bad. Fricassée facebook's moderation software. Who wants them building a profile of you from your random ramblings any bloody how? Think of the new timeline feature and how your daily posts can be compiled into a profile – a profile available to anyone for a price.....
I'll drink to that!
(decaf, please)
