In Costa Rica, arroz con leche means stirring in sweetened condensed milk, while the same moniker calls for coconut milk in Puerto Rico. Toss in some rum-soaked raisins or maple syrup and you're on the way to a rice-filled paradise.
And according to Dutch folklore, it'll be the dish waiting for you at the pearly gates, golden spoon included.
