Just wanted to tell all of you ground turkey eaters, salmonella has been found in some,yet our great and wise FDA will not list a manufacturer or brand name. 1 person dead and 57 cases of people being sick. What is wrong with this picture? It's been going on since March of this year. :((
I'm so pissed off right now. Toby HAS been de-clawed, and he's now wearing a collar with a bell on it that he's used to. Usually cats freak out over that and try to take it off, but not him. He's obviously worn one before.
Fracking idiots who had him de-clawed, taking away his only means of defense, THEN letting him escape outside. They should have their hands cut off!
Grrrrr. What could it hurt to report this? You're right, they've not only left the cat defenseless, but now he's wearing a dinner bell. What kind of environment are you in? City, burbs or country?
There is nothing I can do. He was found about 1 month ago by my hubby's aunt. She called neighbors, vets, humane society, no one reported the cat missing. She kept him for 1 month to make sure, then just gave him to us on Sat. He doesn't get along with her other cats. So far he's fine with our cats, skittish, but no fights.
I'm in a rural area – own 15 acres, so he won't get hit by a car, or found by anyone but my neighbors... but there are fox, skunk, coyote... I'm worried about my other 2 cats, who have claws!!! How can I not freak out about Toby getting outside?
I think I'm going to try and leash train him so he can go outside, yet be safe.

Well picture this...a 51 year old who has been both bankrupt twice and divorced twice. Has several kids and from what I gather, the only one is the family outcast. Picture that she surrounds herself of friends of similar caliber, whom she likes to complain about to almost anyone who will listen. Above all of this, consider that at 51, her looks are starting to peak in a not-quite-goodlooking sense. Some women do their fifties well (think Sela Ward, Diane Keaton, etc), but alas, this individual does not. And she complains that there are no good men with money (her prerequisite) out there.
All in all, as entertaining as anything you can find on the internet(s)...

My itenerary is coming along nicely! Here's what I have so far:
1. Head South to visit MicheleG in the OC.
2. Head North to visit with SeaBee & Tazer and have some awesome blue crab enchiladas
3. Farther North to visit MTM’s mountain and dine on some fresh elk
4. Hop a plane to Denver to see Truth and Miss Saigon
5. From there, head on down to Katy, TX to try RH’s famous smoked Brisket BBQ and play with WD
6. Head North to Kansas City for Oklahoma Joes burnt ends and cold beer with wendy
7. Hop over to Indiana to visit the Royal Family, I think the boys will love me as I am the most rockin’ grandma around.
8. Shoot over to Northern NY state to stop by Mildred's
9. A stop over in NYC to visit CNN offices and say hi to Kat and SLT and see if I can finally talk my way into getting an official Eatocracy cutting board
10. Head South to VA/DC to visit with JainaJade, Jerv, TWO, and SirBiddle, cupcakes anyone?
11. Continue South to somewhere secret and find the Evil Lair with minions running about
12. Further South to West Florida for a stop with AleeD and some fresh grouper.
13. Drive over to Miami to say hi to DJC and have some awesome Cuban food.
Don't forget about Rumrunners with 151 floaters! :D
Oh yummmmm, that sounds too good. Now if we can just get a regular from Hawaii...I'm way overdue for a Mai Tai.

He developed a real fear of flying, especially over water...there are no stop overs on the way from CA to HI...he won't go to Europe with me either, so I go with my mom. I have gone over without him with my BFF from Sarasota, FL, my mom, daughters, grandkids, etc. Mostly I have been banking the week(s) with Interval International...to trade out some day. :(
Seriously, have you discussed tranqs? That's the only way mom would fly to OH for my sister's wedding.

Thought of y'all last night...Miss Saigon's boss just got back from VN and brought us back five pounds of the biggest shrimp I have EVER seen. I am talking the size of a man's fist. She boiled up a bunch last night and I was full after three. All I could think is how great they would go with beers on a beach somewhere with music cranked in the background. Bro Rich can bring his grass skirt LOL

Well, first the minions and I had game night. Then we went to visit some evil friends who are moving to new locations in which to better carry out their jobs in the coming world takeover. Then the minion broke some plates and the fun ended. Never give your minions scotch cream. It does not turn out well.
Well you need to be a little more specific on location if I'm going to pencil you in on my itenerary! Can I visit the evil lair if I wear a blindfold so I can't tell anyone where it is exactly??

I should have run this morning but I had a terrible nights sleep, so I decided to turn the alarm off and get a few more hours of rest.
I had a nightmare about my son's 1st day of kindergarten...............it's still a month away, and I really shouldn't be nervous about it at all, apparantly my subconcious is.
Bad dreams=Boooo!!! The drive-in should be pretty Kool for all. Back in the day we would sneak in at least 4 people in the trunk of my car. We were such rebels...HA!
I get weird dreams when I use sleep meds. The otehr night I dreamt that Miss Saigon put diesel in her car (which is non-diesel)...Weird, I know...
