    Haven't had the pleasure of trying the burger place from CA (Consumerist). I'm waiting for Red Robin to grace the streets of W. Central FL.

    Seems like to me that the 2011 prison meal budget would be billion not million? 2.62 per day per prisoner would be 956.30 per year. That comes out to some 16 thousand prisoners? Anway....maybe I'm missing something...

      Millions is probably correct. 956.30 X 16,000 comes out to be 15,300,800. Does seem like it should be more, though. I think it's sad that school children eat worse than prisoners.
