We chatted with Real Housewife and Skinnygirl Margarita mogul Bethenny Frankel her favorite food city and the "scam" she claims is making Americans poor and fat.
Previously – Fame Bites: NeNe Leakes
have another cocktail Bethany. She should sober up before agreeing to do another on-camera interview. Gross.
that's just the way she talks...
Americans should stop thinking about being fat and just be thankful for food. If you don't like being fat so bad, give all your money to charity so you won't be able to buy food.
Adelina, that would be nice, but unfortunantly its become a big problem in this country.
Bethenny is a self-made woman, she found the right niche at the right time, making the "right product" that just took off rquickly & is currently in high demand. She is an author as well writing several books about life & also her cookbooks.
For a woman who was seemingly not wanted or truly loved by her parents, she's really gone for it & made a buge success of her life. I wishe her well & wish her continued success.
To the NYC Housewives who treated her like dirt becasue Bethenny was wealthy a few years ago....."in your face"....Bethenny IS now wealthy having sold her Skinny Girl product line, she has a nice husband & beatiful little girl Bryn & inlaws & TRUE friends who love her!
Congrat Bethenny.....much success & happiness!
One tequila, Two tequila, Three tequila, FLOOR! *burp*
Betheney – love you and all, but that margarita does not taste good from the bottle. Its WAY too tart. Smells delicious, but bleh!
Speaking of PORTION SIZES, her Margaritas are 4 oz. for their 100 calorie count. Has anyone ever had a 4 oz. Margarita? I grew up in California and Texas where Margaritas abound and the answer is NO.
A 4 oz 100-calorie margarita? Whats her recipe– 1 oz tequila, 3 oz colored water and a twist of lime? Leave out the water and gimme 4oz of tequila!
Never heard of this person before. Looks like a candidate for the web site Awful Plastic Surgery.com.

Ohhh, you guys are getting sneaky! I'll have to remember that one!

Clever, for middle-schoolers...
Wish I could view this! Anyone tell me what the "scam" is??
The scam is that people think they are getting a good deal with large portion sizes, but in reality they'll have to spend more to try to keep weight off.
To me the scam is, who is this woman? Am I missing another chunk of pop culture here?
She's a reality TV person (The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, The Real Housewives of New York City, then went into her own show about getting married), a natural foods chef, and an author (primarily of low calorie natural foods and exercise).
She also came up a margarita mix that's supposed to be natural and 100 calories for a serving (the Skinnygirl Margarita) during her first season of Real Housewives of NYC.
and most of that I really only know because I looked her name up on Wikipedia.
Ah. That makes sense. I would not have seen her on most of her stuff. And I don't like margaritas.
Um, there's this new thing called "Google" where you can type in something and you can read all about it. Give it a try.
Why Google when it's just as easy to ask in the comments, and one can get the abridged version rather than the whole book? (And inform the rest of us who can't be bothered with watching stupid tv shows.)
And she has big tits!
not to mention she created the skinny girl brand and then sold it too jim beam spirits for an astounding 120 million dollars (reportedly, it could have been more but contractually she cannot disclose this to be the fact)
She's some haggard old lady who gets paid to get drunk on television.
