Ok, I have a question for Mothers, regarding the "mommy juice". Do you get tired of people labeling something "mommy" or "mom-friendly" or something and thinking that's enough to market to you. Or do you really go for the mom oriented products?
This is not sarcastic. I'm actually curious.
"Mommy juice" makes me think of breastmilk and after 2 years of hearing the word "mommy" everytime I turn around, I'm pretty d@mn sick of it.
See, that's what I thought, but we sure do see a lot of mom-targeting in ads. And not just for mom stuff, like diapers, kids clothes, etc. Like a candy bar maker would make a mommy-bar, which might be the same as a snickers, but says mommy on the packaging. People must go for it, though, or they would stop marketing this way.
They don't do a lot of that for dads.
I remember when Thursday night on NBC was called "Must See TV", and it actually was. What is on now is just a downright shame. PLEASE tell me that "Outsourced" and "Community" are not coming back...
I've never actually watched outsourced, but I like Community. Fits my extremely juvenile sense of humor well.
Bite your tongue! I love Community but Outsourced could go.
Whoever decided that in this economy, making a comedy about a moving jobs overseas should be shot, then drawn and quartered...
Actually, I thought something similar when I first saw the name of the show. Were they crazy?
"Bean blankies"...I love it!
Or Pre-chickens. I've heard fetal chickens before, but I like pre-chickens.
