 Dennis Kucinich is no fan of pit-filled olives – and now he's doing something about it: Taking one of Congress' cafeterias to court. In 2008, the Ohio Democrat purchased a sandwich wrap filled with those olives at the cafeteria inside the Longworth Office Building. After biting into the wrap, he cracked a tooth, according to the legal complaint. Now he has come forward with a $150,000 lawsuit against the cafeteria – run by Restaurant Associates and other groups – for providing "dangerous" sandwiches. And we wonder why they can't get anything done in Washington....
This is ridiculous. Obviously the olive wasn't placed there on purpose. These things are pitted at a factory, and occassionally an olive might get by with an intact pit, or a fragment of a pit. The same goes for pitted or seedless anything. Kucinich is a jackass.
I'm a Canadian ,so my opinion probably doesn't matter; but you guys should realise that when this sort of stupidity is revealed as being perpetuated by a congressman,(suposedly one ofyour best & brightest,) it reflects ,world wide on olive you.

I'm trying to imagine why someone would put olives with pits inside a wrap! Yes those olives tend to taste better, but they are lucky that the gentleman got a broken tooth... instead of choking (which is a possibility if he inadvertently swallowed one whole)!!
Gentelman?? This Congress person should be ashamed of himself for bringing this frivilous lawsuit. He getst the best healthcare in the world. He has no businees filing a lawsuit wasting more taxpayer money. Time for the voters in his state to vote him out the next time he is up for re-election. Simply ridiculous.
If Boehner was suing, no doubt a different story, right? You did hear him complaining about his health care while he was cutting the throats of the poor, right?
I totally agree!!!this guy is a fucking moron and wasting our money...obviously it was a mistake that it got in there if its the first time were hearing about it...this guy has plenty of money to get his dumb tooth fixed...all hes doing is wasting our money!!!
