    Casson Trenor is a piece of work. I laughed at this segment:

    "On the other hand, if we buy pirate-caught Chilean sea bass from a seafood merchant that has no compunction about selling it, we reward this type of nefarious behavior and communicate to the marketplace at large that we, the consumers, don't particularly care about the ramifications of our seafood choices."

    Those that are super concerned about sustainability cannot eat this fish, legally caught or not, because it's over-fished to the point that many restaurants stopped serving the fish in recognition of its status. It's rated "AVOID" by the MB Aquarium, one of the go-to sources for this kind of thing.

    The second laugh came with:

    "Nobu sells a tremendous amount of endangered bluefin tuna..."

    Endangered, you say?

    The first is an international list and the second is for the U.S. and you'll have a hard time finding the bluefin tuna on either list.

    Overall, the guy's a joke. Yeah, he has a point, but like so many others out there he makes his argument with a bunch of half-truths. Instead of building his case with thoughtful and frank points, he uses cheap ploys like omitting (highly) relevant information and scare tactics.

      Not exactly a half truth on the Bluefin. They have been trying to get it on the endangered list for years. What keeps it off is more a matter of politics than sustainability. It's widely recognized as an unsustainable species in danger of being fished into extinction.

    The fact that animals are endangered or unsustainable makes them taste better.....I'm still trying to find a place that serves mountain gorilla.....just kidding...calm down.

    But I think the real news is that Flava Flav has a culinary degree?!?

    The fact that flava flav has any income at all shows that there will always be a place for the court jester. Personally, the only thing I would like to see him do is self-immolate.

    I'm sorry, but I don't think I could eat any chicken that had Flava Flav's image attached to it. Ugh.

    I find it funny, in the seafood article, that Legal Seafood decided to host a dinner to educate people about sustainable seafood, by serving unsustainable fish. Uh, what?
