Don't get me started! I always wondered if anyone else has such limited access to the internet besides cnn.com. Is it just me, or it it quite common? Dunno, but I've never been so up to date with all types of news! Great conversation starters arise from my time spent here at work ;)
I work in the medical field and they are very super protective of patient confidentiality. If it ain't work related, I'm not gettin' to it. Not even Facebook. Two exceptions I have found are CNN and Businessweek.

Cool idea! I love the chat, and also love comments related to the articles. I'll be on both. Thank goodness I am able to access cnn.com at work (I can't access any others besides my company website!) so this saves the day for me!

Regarding the Secret Supper in Atlanta: I'm very disappointed – you tell us about this fabulous secret supper and show us videos of some of the food. The articles/videos left me totally frustrated. It might have been more informative if you had given us a complete list of all the foods served and photos of each dish with details. Not fair to say the food was creative, fabulous, etc. and then skimp on the details. Since I wasn't invited to the supper the least you can do is give me as much information as possible so I don't feel totally left out.

Fabulous idea! The back-and-forth between the regular posters is interesting to read and I do find it quite amusing. However, it would be very nice to be able to easily read comments directly related to the article at hand rather than sifting through a great deal of off topic posts first.
This is, I hope you all know, done out of total respect and fondness. Sarah and I adore you all - you keep us amused all day and we're grateful you chose to come here. I figure that if we put a VIP lounge here, people can talk more easily and we'll see what we can do about putting in some exclusive treats.

I think this is what Eatocracy hass evolved into, so I hope this will cool down the hotheads some. The regs are what keeps the flavor here anyway.

While I love the muskateers, Jdizz and everyones sense of humor, some folks just don't get it so I think this would be fitting.
I concur my friend. As Truth said we have evolved-walking straight up feels better than hunched over.
