While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV.
December 6 is National Gazpacho Day, which seems somewhat counterintuitive given the cold weather conditions - but what they hey, we'll take the polar bear plunge.
Touted as one of the healthier ethnic cuisines, Spanish gazpacho is typically a tomato-based cold soup made with puréed and chopped raw vegetables. There are other variations, like “Next Food Network Star” winner Aarti Sequeira’s White Gazpacho, made with cucumbers, grapes, almonds and yogurt.
We want to know: what veggies do you add to your brew?
