Amman, Jordan (CNN) - It's not the sheep he uses to keep his grape vines tidy that make Omar Zumot's wines unusual. Nor is it the fish he uses as a source of fertilizer. What truly sets Zumot's wines apart is the fact that they come not from the lush vineyards typically found in France or California, but from the hot and arid plains of Jordan. "My father was a vintner since 1954, and it has always been his dream and our dream to produce a good wine of Jordan," Zumot told CNN. "You know when I was four years of age, he would always tell me this country can produce the best wine in the world." "Unfortunately the mind set that everybody had was that Jordanian wine is a mediocre wine, that Jordanian wine is not the best in the world," says Zumot. Busy day here. Glad to hear all is well on your end!
I spent some time along that route. Did some Katrina relief and flew out of Mobile at the end. Also spent some time in Biloxi and Gulfport. Nice areas, as I remember...Drive safely, as you don't want to "hit" anything...;)

Well hello!
HI Stranger,how's your day?
Have I told you that you look fabulous today?
I like Rothschild Merlot, and I do like Margaritas as well. My fave drink though is a Bombay Sapphire Gin (don't know why just like Bombay) and diet 7up! But, when I'm home in Canada it's Wiser's and Diet Coke for me....not very feminine but yummy.
I can't do wine.... but I can hit beer!!
Yeah, never had much use for wine, can't really do beer anymore but I tear up a bottle of sour mash whiskey.
However, I get these little nagging headaches when I drink beer. It's not a hangover headache... it's after I have a couple. I tried pooring the bottle into a glass and that doesn't help either. :( Now, once in awhile I fire up the blender and make a mean strawberry margarita! OH YEA!
Like to give myself brain freeze drinking really cold ice water for the headache. I'm a real sucker for margaritas! You go!
