While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV.

The month has come to delight in the simplistic beauty that is peanut butter - November is National Peanut Butter Lover's Month.

The spreadable nut butter appears in brown bags aplenty from nursery schools to nursing homes (what with its denture-friendly texture). And according to the National Peanut Board, Americans spend almost $800 million a year on PB.

In honor of this salty holiday, we here at Eatocracy shall raise a spoon to celebrate.  And yes, we *do* eat peanut butter off a spoon.

Only one question remains: crunchy or creamy?

What's on TV?

"Rachael Ray's Week in a Day" - Cooking Channel, 2 p.m. ET
Five one pot meals that'll make the work week dinner routine a heck of a lot simpler.

"Lidia's Italy" - PBS, 8 p.m. ET
Lidia travels through Liguria during harvest season. Among the dishes prepared back in the kitchen is a rice and zucchini crostada.

"Cake Boss" - TLC, 8 p.m. ET
The bakery is on the fritz when the ovens need to be replaced.

"The Best Thing I Ever Ate" - Food Network, 9 p.m. ET
Speaking of cake, Ted Allen, Alton Brown, Giada de Laurentiis and Tyler Florence share their favorite slices.

JDizz – I think that Obama, McDaniels and Hawkins need to be fired. In that order.
Rangers look like they will be going down. Major disappointment here.

If anyone needs me, I will be gorging on leftover Halloween candy and priming myself for tomorrow...:)

Actually already voted.Colorado does mail ballots, which is the best idea since the wheel and fire.

And for the record, I will be working at the polls tomorrow.Very interesting, as we cannot leave the building from the time polls open to closing. Kind of like being in prison. My wife sends me off with a ton of food though. In 2008, her pho tay was a huge hit.

Can you mail me some of your wife's Pho? You talk so much about it. I can send you some of the GF's enchiladas in exchange.

@Truth I was thinking the same thing. I wish I could taste that Pho, too. You talk about her cooking so much. She must be really great.

Especially kisses. Hugs are a right-winged conservative lack of intimacy.

Did you see that sign those cats in the stand had? "We have a Rangers game to go to!"? Harsh.

If they were wearing Black and Orange I don't think it was for Halloween.
