While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV.

Suddenly, life is looking positively peachy. August, or National Peach Month, is ripe for the picking.

We're big fans of eating the fuzzy fruit straight out of hand, with peach juice dribbling down our chin and a dopey grin on our face - but do tell: what's your favorite way to delight in summer's favorite stone fruit?

What's on TV?

"Today Show" - NBC, 7 a.m. ET
Domestic goddess Nigella Lawson stops by.

"When Harry Met Sally" - E!, 1 p.m. ET
The famous Katz's Delicatassen scene. "I'll have what she's having."

"Man v. Food" - Travel Channel, 9 p.m. ET
A fried-catfish challenge in the Sooner State.

"Top Chef: Washington, D.C." - Bravo, 9 p.m. ET
The cheftestants prepare dishes inspired by foreign embassies. Marcus Samuelsson and José Andrés guest judge.
