Having worked in advertising and design for many years, stumbling onto food blogs was a memorable and changing moment for myself. I knew immediately that this was the perfect creative outlet for both of my major passions: food and design. Yet, I would have never dreamt that the delicious:days blog, started in March 2005, would become so popular and lead me to a new career.

While Oliver, my significant other, is responsible for the technical backbone as well as the travel photography, I feature the recipes in my life - they may originate from our travels and road-trips, the coffee bar next door or my grandma.

Looking back on the past five years of blogging brings back sweet memories about the great foods we had around the globe and the dear friends we made along the way - food is such a significant and emotional element in our lives. Meanwhile, I am able to earn my living as a food writer and photographer: my daily life revolves around the subject of food and I couldn’t be happier. My first cookbook, “delicious days,” was published in 2008 and the next is already in the making.
