"Oh shoot!" we realized. We didn't have a picture for Devna Shukla's ode to PB&J and it was nearing 10 last night.

Sent up a flare to our crack photo team, and they came back with the picture above. Which is mean. Because that plate of sandwiches is in Atlanta, and we're not.

Each weekday, Lick the Screen will showcase a food photo that sets our stomach rumbling. If you'd like your work to be featured, submit your pictures to the Eatocracy Flickr pool or leave a link in the comments. We'll get in touch if what we see makes us weak at the knees.

We grew up making peanut butter sandwiches like a grilled cheese good when the peanut butter and jam melt together. It is a delicious way to eat a PB and J sandwich!!!

Mmmm...I remember getting to cut out PB&J with cookie cutters for fun shapes. I'd still eat the crusts, but star-shaped sandwiches are totally festive.

I mix my peanut butter and jelly in a bowl before I spread it on the bread. Toast is best, because it doesn't stick to your teeth or mouth.
