CNN cameraman Jeremy Harlan, a noted produce fiend, was minding his own business, just a-strolling through a Watsonville, California farmers' market when these here strawberries just decided to get all up in his face. Berried him alive, you might say. Or you mightn't. You might just buy a few pints and down 'em in one sitting.

Oh, and here's why they're especially abundant in Santa Cruz and Monterey. From the Monterey Bay Strawberry Festival website:
